Yes, there will be a lot of food pictures. This is my breakfast. I decided to walk down to Gails. Avocado on sourdough toast with a chilli dip.

Mothers day
Sadly my mother passed away 12 years ago just before my birthday. Why the horse? I'll write a 100 word story shortly to explain.

Plumb job
So no hot water. It transpires that I just need to top the pressure up. Perfect.
It was a wonderful feeling of achievement to do a bit of plumbing and no explosion ensured. I hope.

Spring has sprung
It's officially the first hay of spring. My bulbs are getting there but the cold weather is not convincing them its Spring yet.

Toad in the hole
Oatmilk style and the batter was a little flat. In future with oat milk use self raising flour. The onion gravy however was sensational.
